I don't know where to begin with this post. I should start off with Coco and I have been friends since first grade...we go way back. From playing with dolls or should I say torturing our dolls. ( I cannot believe we even have children. hahahaha) To sleepovers and spending almost every summer vacation together. Then there comes a day when you grow up and life just isn't little crushes and childhood playtime. It is taken over by responsibilities, work, marriage and children. You are lucky if you can find time to even pick up the phone and catch up with your long time friends. The ones that knew everything and anything about you almost become strangers. I lost touch with quite a few friends in the past, life moves on so quickly that you don't even realize what you lost until it is really gone.
Some people say blood is thicker than water, well I absolutely HATE that statement. I believe that your friends are family too, most of them know you better than you know yourself. How can they not, if you have spent countless hours talking over the phone, hanging out, talking about nonsense, getting into trouble, crying together, growing up and comparing life experiences.
I would totally love to post all the great memories that Coco and I had together growing up but like I said, time passes in the blink of an eye and before we know it our kids are going to be able to google this on the internet, stumble across what I wrote, and bite us in the butt :)
This trip to Tahoe is definitely going down in the books though, not only the night before this shoot we stayed up until 4 AM, but we sat at a crazy roulette table for about 4 hours! I believe she may have been the only preggo in that casino on the tables all weekend.
I am so happy that I got to capture this beautiful belly, feel the baby kick.
I always imagined growing up that our kids would be friends and play together, but living hundreds of miles away from each other make that almost impossible. So for now I will take what I can get and be happy that there is still a phone and internet :) sorry I am rambling and my writing sucks, so let me get to the point and show this "beautiful baby bump" LoVe YoU GuYs~ You will be awesome parents for those little girlies, and good luck to Riley (you are NOW going to be stuck with 3 girls!)
Can't wait to meet little Arlyn :)
